Hello! Welcome to my online portfolio! I am Mackenzie Miles, a third-year journalism student at the University of Georgia.
Along with journalism, I have a minor in studio art where I have the freedom to express myself creatively though photography. I'm passionate about capturing special, candid moments between people.
I hope to combine my skills in journalism and photography to be a visual storyteller.

Social Media Chair
I joined the NPPA at UGA this year to learn more about photojournalism and collaborate with my peers. I was elected as Social Media Chair to highlight member's work and post about upcoming events.

A few years ago, I started my own photography business where I offer affordable sessions for seniors, couples, and families. Through this I have gained a lot of confidence in my photography abilities and knowledge on running a successful business.

I am a third-year Journalism major, advancing in visual storytelling through photojournalism. As well as a studio art minor where I take classes to learn all the different forms of art and expression.
Summer of 2019
Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity
In summer of 2019, I attended a study abroad program in Cannes, France. The program was focused on preparing students for the festival and future careers in the business.
